Profile
My name is Erick Ley, I am a designer with passion for innovation, sustainability and technical excellence. What sets me apart is not only my extensive experience in architecture but also my dedication to continuous learning, particularly in coding, and photography.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working on a wide range of projects, from residential to high-end hospitality and mixed-use developments. My recent role at House and Robertson Architects in Culver City afforded me the opportunity to lead as an Architect of Record, overseeing the production of detailed design and construction documentation sets in compliance with California Building Codes. Additionally, my remote collaboration with Guerin Glass Architects during the pandemic allowed me to hone my skills further in content quality management and client deliverables for prestigious projects across multiple locations.
In addition to my technical expertise in software such as Revit, Sketchup, and Enscape, I am deeply committed to fostering effective communication and collaboration within interdisciplinary teams. My experience has taught me the importance of meticulous coordination with consultants and stakeholders to ensure the seamless execution of projects from conception to completion.
Beyond my professional pursuits, I am a multifaceted individual with a passion for creativity in various forms. I am currently engaged in a journey to explore the world of coding, finding intriguing parallels between architecture and programming. The problem-solving, strategic thinking, organization, and management skills honed in architecture are proving to be valuable assets as I delve into coding. This pursuit not only enriches my skill set but also underscores my commitment to continuous growth and adaptation in an ever-evolving technological landscape.
Whether I am capturing architectural wonders through my photography (@eley.archive), immersing myself in the vibrant energy of sports stadiums(@elbermuda11) , or embarking on a journey to explore the world of coding, I am constantly seeking new avenues for self-expression and growth.
